Duties Of Officers

Education Division
  • The Education Division administers a quality assurance program to promote high standards of practice among members.
  • The Education Division recommends courses for CPD to the Board for approval.
  • The Education Division performs such other duties as the Board from time to time directs.
  • The Education Division carries out related duties as indicated in the By-Laws
Editorial Division
  • The Editorial Division is responsible to develop and distribute the Association’s newsletter to all members either by hardcopy or electronic copy.
  • The Editorial Division may respond to any media requests for articles relating to chiropractic at the approval of the Board.
  • The Editorial Division performs such other duties as the Board from time to time directs.
  • The Editorial Division carries out related duties as indicated in the By-Laws.
Preliminary Investigation Division
  • The Preliminary Investigation Division establishes and maintains procedures by which the Association deals with complaints of professional misconduct.
  • The Preliminary Investigation Division monitors and periodically evaluates the operation of procedures established under Clause 9.8.1.
  • The Preliminary Investigation Division provides information to the public regarding the Association’s complaint and disciplinary process.
  • The Preliminary Investigation Division performs such other duties as the Board from time to time directs.
  • The Preliminary Investigation Division carries out related duties as indicated in the By-Laws.
Registration Division
  • The Registration Division receives applications for registration or membership renewals.
  • The Registration Division approves, defers or rejects applications for registration or membership renewals.
  • The Registration Division is responsible for posting the ACM Membership Certificates and ACM Membership stickers to incoming members.
  • The Registration Division performs such other duties as the Board from time to time directs.
  • The Registration Division carries out related duties as indicated in the By-Laws.
Webmaster Division
  • The Webmaster Division serves as the administrator of the Association’s web pages.
  • The Webmaster Division regulates and manages access rights of different users on the Association’s website.
  • The Webmaster Division creates and modifies the appearance and setting of Association’s website(s).
  • The Webmaster Division maintains and modifies the Association’s webpages which include, but not limited to, updating content, making sure that the website’s code is compatible with various browsers, fixing broken links and others.
  • The Webmaster Division maintains the security of website(s) and building the site’s servers by accurately assigning logins and passwords where appropriate.
  • The Webmaster Division performs such other duties as the Board from time to time directs.
  • The Webmaster Division carries out related duties as indicated in the By-Laws.
State Representatives
  • The State Representatives are responsible for reporting on the state matters relating to the chiropractic profession.
  • The State Representatives are invited to attend the board meeting as observers.
  • The State Representatives perform such other duties as the Board from time to time directs.
  • The State Representatives carry out related duties as indicated in the By-Laws.
Student Representative
  • The Student Representative is responsible for formulating proposals on Student Member’s activities for the approval of the Board.
  • The Student Representative is invited to attend board meetings as observers.
  • The Student Representative performs such other duties as the Board from time to time directs.
  • The Student Representative carries out related duties as indicated in the By-Laws.
